Some stories take a long time to tell…
I first put pen to paper nearly twenty years ago, writing a story of heroism and loss, of friends and enemies; an epic tale of normal people plunged into extraordinary circumstances. A couple of years ago I finally finished the first part of that tale as the novel Demon’s Tear. The second book has followed as well as a couple of ‘prequels’.
My stories are an attempt to find universal truths…
…like all fantasy, really. And I think there’s a lot to enjoy in my books, so I want to spread the word of their existence as widely as possible. A story is meant to be shared.
My Substack is about sharing those stories
My published world contains four ‘official’ books; the novels A Path of Blades, Demon’s Tear and Demon’s Rise, and the novella Tann’s Last Stand, but that’s not all. The world exists outside those books in short stories, in background lore, in epic poems (yes, really), and if you join me, here, you can take a step into lands that can become as real and vivid to you as they are to me.

I am new to this, so this is an adventure we can enjoy together! I’ll try to post here when I’ve got something to say! I do bits and pieces of ‘talking head’ type content on TikTok so I’ll try and keep you updated with what I’m going on about there, and of course I’ll announce any new books or published stories here first.
